Hi, I am Madhura Dunakhe.
Reflecting on my journey as a female entrepreneur in English language education, focusing on spoken English and competitive exam preparation, has been an unexpected and serendipitous experience. Despite obtaining a BBA and an MBA, familial expectations nudged me towards a conventional corporate career, which, while appealing, did not align with my personal aspirations. A significant turning point occurred during my MBA entrance exam preparations when my English teacher, Mr. Vishal Borse, recognized my logical and reasoning skills. Under his guidance, I entered the realm of education.

Initially, I began by affiliating with a franchise and starting my Spoken English classes. The initial phase faced challenges, with only ten students in my first batch. Despite setbacks, my unwavering commitment to establishing a presence in the educational domain fuelled my determination. At this juncture, family advice encouraged me to consider competitive exams or a conventional corporate path. However, my dedication to the growth of my educational venture led me to diversify my professional roles across different platforms.
My pursuits took a positive turn as I gained significant financial returns from my varied teaching engagements. This not only boosted my confidence but also solidified a profound realization: my vocational calling resonates most authentically with the role of an educator. Embracing this insight, I aimed to create an environment conducive to effective English language learning and competitive exam preparation, aspiring to empower learners. In essence, my initially uncharted journey evolved into a purposeful and professionally fulfilling odyssey as a dedicated and impassioned educator.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in business, my dream was always to venture into entrepreneurship. My father instilled in me the mantra, “Be your own boss,” which became my guiding principle. Resolute in my decision to avoid a conventional 9-to-5 job, I am currently steering my journey toward becoming a notable influencer on social media, particularly in the field of education. Expanding my reach, I have ventured into teaching English for competitive exams, a promising endeavor.

Establishing “Madhura’s Learning Academy” marked the inception of my educational venture. Currently, I conduct private batches with students joining local areas to overseas, fostering a diverse and enriching learning environment.
In conversations with my father, he consistently asks, “What’s next?” I respond that this is my learning phase, absorbing knowledge and gaining hands-on experience to evolve into a seasoned educator. The trajectory I am on instills confidence that I will carve a niche as a successful educator and influencer. Life, as I have learned, tends to guide you towards your destined path.
Rooted in a lineage of formidable women, my grandmother’s tenacity is particularly inspiring. Overcoming numerous obstacles, she established her own school. Following her example, my mother, a resolute teacher herself, contributes to the family legacy. Despite never envisioning myself as a teacher, destiny had other plans. As they say, you can’t outrun destiny.
