I’m Swati Joshi, the founder of Mystic Vacations India (MVI) — a travel company born from a lifelong love for exploration and a deep belief that travel can transform how we see the world.
I grew up in a small town called Dandeli, a place surrounded by nature but limited in access to other parts of the country. Yet, I was lucky; my father’s work took him across India, and he often took me along. Those early journeys with him opened my eyes to the beauty of travel, not just the destinations, but the people, the stories, and the feeling of discovering something new.
He became my first travel guide, and truly, the inspiration behind Mystic Vacations India.
Turning Passion into Purpose
In 2016, that inspiration turned into action when I founded Mystic Vacations India — with one goal: to make travel simpler, meaningful, and filled with comfort for every kind of traveler.
Curating Experiences, Not Just Packages
From the very beginning, MVI wasn’t just about selling tour packages — it was about curating experiences. We wanted every journey to feel personal and purposeful, whether it was a relaxing getaway, a pilgrimage, or an adventure. Over the years, we’ve built expertise across leisure travel, senior citizen yatras, women-only groups, treks, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) for corporate clients.
Expanding Horizons Across India and Beyond
As the company grew, so did our reach. Today, MVI proudly operates branches in Srinagar (Kashmir), Rishikesh, Rajasthan, and Thailand, expanding our presence from the Himalayas to international shores.

One of our most heartfelt achievements has been our Senior Citizens Yatra Groups — journeys filled with laughter, companionship, and memories. Watching seniors rediscover the joy of travel — from the valleys of Kashmir to the beaches of Kerala — has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Today, Mystic Vacations India has proudly served over 1500 clients and organised more than 50 international trips. Every milestone reminds us that we are not just building a business, but a community of travellers who trust us with their most precious experiences.
