My Story in Architectural Design
I am Architect Sujata Nayak, Founder of SND Architects, a multi-disciplinary design firm specializing in Architecture, Interiors, Landscaping, Retail, and Commercial Design. With over 15 years of expertise, we craft Premium Residences, Stylish Interiors, and Commercial Spaces that connect and inspire.
My Journey: From Art to Architecture
I was always drawn to creative pursuits. Every childhood hobby involved designing and creating something new. This natural creative drive led me to pursue architecture at the prestigious L S Raheja School of Architecture in Mumbai, where I built the foundation for my future in design.
My deep interest in detail and art drove me towards creative-based hobbies, and I was always passionate about experimenting and innovating. My curiosity led me to explore different design methodologies, shaping my approach to architecture.
After graduating, I spent my early years gaining valuable experience in Mumbai’s dynamic architecture scene. I worked with renowned firms, honing my expertise in architecture and interior design.
After a couple of years in Mumbai, I shifted base to Bangalore, where I worked for over 10 years, immersing myself in various design styles and sectors. In Bangalore, I had the opportunity to work with leading design firms such as:
-Idiom Design & Consulting Ltd.
-Tesco – Design Implementation Team
These years shaped my deep understanding of architectural excellence, giving me the ability to work across residential, commercial, and retail design.

✅ Winning the prestigious VM&RD award for my work on Ethnicity, a well-known retail brand
This is where I discovered my passion for designing schools, allowing me to give back to the community. Enabling learning environments through design became my motto, as I strongly believe that design plays a crucial role in shaping the way people learn and interact with spaces.
