I am Sapna Kabre. My journey started when I passed my 12th exam. I was 18 years old, born in a Marwadi family and eldest child in the family. Right then, my marriage talks started. But I wanted to do something in my life as a career, as my Mother’s wish was that I need to earn at least 2000/- per month.
I had a fight with my father on my joining course of interior design, as that time it was a very expensive course. Taking it up as a challenge, I completed my interior design course, and started my first job at my Jiju’s office called Baheti and associates. Working hard at this first job of my life, I was like a computer to my Jiju : for everything related to office, I used to be his memory.
Then in 1995, got married to founder of SIT group Mr. Manoj Kabre. In 1996, we were blessed with a daughter, Manali. And then 1999, a son was born. Being a homemaker, the biggest job of my life started. My husband’s job was transferable .
We came to Bangalore in 2003. On the school bus stop I met Veena Angadi . Being in the same profession, we started a startup called Creative’s Design Studio and our interior design journey started. We used to do 3 or 4 projects in a year since our preference was always our availability for our kids and our domestic work .
Then in 2021, my daughter Manali joined our company and next journey started – the experience with young talent, and we never turned back. She changed our company name to Saavi design studio. Now she is our new cofounder. She is my pride my strength sometimes my inspiration. She is my biggest supporter. Now things have changed and we are full fledged into interior business.
