After spending over 25 years in the IT industry, I began to feel a shift. I was grateful for everything that world had given me, but somewhere inside, there was a quiet calling…something softer, slower, and more grounded.
Hi, I am Seema Rajashekar.
I had always dreamed of creating a space that felt like home. Not just for my family, but for anyone who stepped in. A space where the days were unhurried, where nature led the rhythm, and where joy came from the simplest of moments.
That dream eventually took shape as Samruddhi Orchards, a farm stay located just about 50 kilometers from Bangalore.
At its core, Samruddhi is a reflection of everything I hold close. Family, nature, community, and care. I’ve always loved cooking, hosting, and being around people. I’m also a proud pet mom and someone who finds deep joy in supporting and uplifting others. For years, I’ve worked closely with government school children in Solur Taluk, and that commitment continues to be a meaningful part of my life.
So when we built our farmhouse, we didn’t just think about architecture, we thought about feeling.
From the furniture made from teak trees we planted years ago, to the wide windows that let in sunshine and breeze, every detail at Samruddhi was chosen with purpose. The home breathes with nature, whether it’s the open-to-sky showers, the serene pooja corner, or the kitchen that welcomes you to cook with fresh produce straight from the farm.
It’s a space where people come not just to stay, but to pause, reconnect, and simply be.
My husband, Vinod, shares this journey with me. With a strong background in tech and global experience, he finds his balance between fast-paced weekdays and weekends spent outdoors. Whether he’s trekking high altitudes or riding towards Umling La, he reminds me that growth doesn’t have to be one-sided, it can stretch in every direction, as long as it’s rooted well.
Together, we’ve built a place that’s more than just a getaway. It’s a space full of light, warmth, and love, a place that holds stories in every corner.
