I believe it’s never easy to find the right and enough words to thank someone who has not just brought you into this world but has given her blood, tears & sweat for you.
MAA…..

Hi, I am Amruti Dhruti-Tarun.
Many of us never understand and appreciate our mothers. Being a mother of a 6 month old now makes me understand the love of a mother. The efforts my mother Dr. Dhruti Parmar takes to provide good care to her child, the extent she goes to to protect them. Nothing in this universe can beat that.
Maa – a simple word, the sound of which brings me immense warmth, sense of safety & love. She is my role model, my friend, my punching bag, my unconditional support and shield. I talk to her when I am sad and I celebrate with her when I am happy; mostly they are virtual celebrations. She ensures that she is always there to take care & guide me – physically or virtually. My mother’s time, efforts and sacrifices for me are immeasurable & can never be repaid. It’s precious!
She is a renowned dentist, runs her own clinic & absolutely LOVES her work & yet she made sure she would be always there for my birthdays and dance competitions and in times of smallest & biggest needs. We don’t live in the same city or even the same state but she would leave her work & travel to comfort me in my times of need.
We hear so many examples of doctor’s kid should only become a doctor but mom never pushed me to be a dentist and instead encouraged me to follow my passion. She introduced me to Kathak dance & always feels so proud seeing me on stage. It’s another thing that I became a German language expert, who then turned into a Yoga trainer. I am 31, and even now she encourages me to complete my education in Kathak. Not worrying about what relatives and society would say, she extends her support.
She is not only an inspiration to me but to so many others. She teaches one to be honest and humble. She is empathetic and so selfless. She just builds a beautiful rapport with everyone who works honestly with/for her. She would guide them with a genuine heart and will be always happy to see others grow.
I feel she hasn’t received the acknowledgment she deserves. And what I have written here is certainly not enough for how much she has done for me. This is just a trailer, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.
THANK YOU, MAA!
