Born and raised in Bengaluru, I have watched the city evolve into one of India’s leading technology hubs. Growing up alongside this transformation nurtured my curiosity about technology and how it shapes the way we live and work.
My name is B.V. Varna Jain, and I head operations at Buzzing Brands, a digital agency specialising in branding, website and app development, and performance marketing.
When my husband, Mr. S.N. Suresh, founded Buzzing Brands in 2020, it marked the beginning of an entrepreneurial journey that would eventually become an important part of my own professional story. Drawing on my corporate experience in testing, quality management and process improvement, I found an opportunity to apply my skills in a new environment and contribute to building the business.
What began as a vision has grown into a digital agency powered by a nine-member team of creative thinkers, technology experts and marketing professionals. From branding and UI/UX design to website and app development, content creation and performance marketing, we bring creativity, technology and strategy together to help businesses strengthen their digital presence and grow.
As Operations Head, my role extends far beyond managing day-to-day operations. I work closely with clients to understand their needs, nurture long-term relationships and identify opportunities to grow the business. From overseeing projects and coordinating teams to managing finances, supporting our people and streamlining internal processes, I wear multiple hats to keep the business moving forward.
For me, it is about bringing people, ideas and opportunities together. It is about building a strong team, creating meaningful client partnerships and turning business needs into digital solutions that deliver lasting value.
But my journey to this point began long before Buzzing Brands. Every stage of my career has taught me something valuable, and it all started with my curiosity about technology and how things work.
Varna Jain’s Early Life and Career Beginnings in Bangalore
When it was time to choose my field of study, I pursued a Diploma in Electronics and Communication. I was always curious about how things worked, from electronic circuits and signals to the technology behind everyday devices. This curiosity drew me towards the technical field and laid the foundation for my professional journey.
After completing my diploma, I went on to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Energy Management (PGDEM), which broadened my understanding of how resources can be used efficiently and processes can be improved.
Looking back, I can see how these learning experiences shaped my approach to work. The habit of understanding how things function, identifying what can be improved and finding practical solutions continues to guide me today. At Buzzing Brands, I apply that same mindset to managing projects, coordinating teams and making business operations more efficient.
Seven and a Half Years in Quality Management

My corporate journey began in the technical field in 2005 at a sensor manufacturing company specialising in pressure, temperature and speed sensors. Over seven and a half years, I gained hands-on experience in testing, quality assurance and process management, building a strong foundation in my field.
During my time there, I progressed from Testing Engineer to Quality Manager, gaining valuable experience in quality management systems, documentation, audits and continuous process improvement.
After seven and a half years, I spent another six months with a company in a similar industry, further building on my corporate experience.
My corporate journey shaped a principle that continues to guide me at Buzzing Brands Bangalore: quality is not just a department or a checklist; it is a habit. It shows in how we communicate, plan projects, solve problems and treat the people we work with.
2020: From Corporate Job to Entrepreneur
When Suresh started Buzzing Brands in 2020, I joined him a few months later. What began as his entrepreneurial vision soon became a shared journey of building and growing the business together.
At a time when businesses were increasingly recognising the importance of a strong online presence, we saw an opportunity to help them adapt and grow. A good website or a functional app was no longer just an added advantage; it was becoming essential for businesses to remain competitive. For me, this was an opportunity to apply my corporate experience in a new environment and contribute to something we were building together.
Building Buzzing Brands Together
Working alongside my husband comes with its own unique dynamics. People often ask me how we manage to work together professionally while maintaining a strong personal relationship. I believe the answer lies in mutual respect, trust and understanding. We recognise each other’s strengths, respect our individual responsibilities and trust each other to make decisions.
My corporate experience taught me the importance of structure, accountability and attention to detail. I bring these principles into my work at Buzzing Brands, ensuring that projects move forward smoothly and that we maintain our commitment to quality. For me, leadership is not just about getting things done; it is about taking ownership, building trust and helping people work together towards a common goal.
How Buzzing Brands Helps Businesses Grow Through Digital Solutions
At Buzzing Brands, our focus is on delivering website and app development solutions that support real business goals. A visually appealing website is only effective when it works for the business behind it. That is why we take the time to understand each client’s needs, their customers’ expectations and their long-term goals before shaping the right solution.
What makes me proudest is not any single project, but the relationships we have built. Many of our clients have stayed with us for years, and some have become friends. For me, that is a meaningful measure of success. When clients return because they trust your work and value the relationship, you know you are building something lasting.
I focus on processes, planning, quality checks and client coordination, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising on quality. That is my world, and I love it. Building long-lasting partnerships has always been at the heart of how we run Buzzing Brands.
Life as a Working Mom Entrepreneur

Outside of work, I am a mother to two wonderful children, Aadhya and Adbhuth. They are my biggest joy and, honestly, my best teachers. Being a working mother is not always easy. There are days when a client call and a school event fall at the same time, and you have to make choices.
But I have learned to stop chasing perfect balance. Some days work wins, some days family wins, and that is okay. What matters is that my children see their mother doing something she believes in.
Staying Active, Staying Creative
I have always been a sporty person, and I make time for the things I love, no matter how busy life gets. Badminton and cricket are among my favourites, and I enjoy participating in 5K and 10K runs, as well as walkathons. I also love trekking and travelling whenever I get the chance.
My love for badminton has brought me some wonderful memories, too.
I have been playing badminton since 2014 and have participated in various tournaments over the years. Most recently, I won the Best Women’s Badminton Player trophy and the Women’s Doubles title at the BNI-organised SE Badminton Tournament in January 2026.
It was a proud moment and a reminder that making time for your passions can lead to rewarding experiences.
Beyond sports, I enjoy expressing my creative side. I love dancing whenever I hear a good beat, even though I am far from being a professional dancer! And singing? Let’s just say I am more of a bathroom singer. As the saying goes, I enjoy exploring different interests without feeling the need to master everything. For me, the joy lies in trying new things and making room for creativity.
I also manage our family YouTube channel, Aadhya Adbhuth, which we are growing organically. It gives me another creative outlet and an opportunity to explore the digital world beyond my professional work.
Travelling is another passion, especially when it involves family road trips. For us, the journey is just as enjoyable as the destination. One of our most memorable adventures was a 15-day family road trip from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, Tipeshwar, Shirdi and Belgaum, before returning to Bengaluru. Exploring new places together and creating memories along the way made it a truly special experience.
I also value the connections and learning that come from being part of professional and social communities. Through networking groups such as Her Network and BWP, I get to meet people from different backgrounds, exchange ideas and gain new perspectives. These interactions remind me that growth comes not only from our own experiences but also from the people we connect with along the way.
For me, life is about staying curious, keeping active and making room for the things that bring joy. Whether it is a badminton court, a dance beat, a family road trip or a new creative idea, I believe there is always something new to learn, experience and enjoy.
A Message for Women Entrepreneurs in Bangalore and Beyond

If you are sitting on an idea, or wondering whether it is too late to start something of your own, I want you to know this. Every skill you have built so far counts. My years in testing and quality management did not go to waste when I became an entrepreneur. They became my foundation.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. You only need to begin, learn as you go and keep showing up. Believe in your own experience. It is worth more than you think.
I am grateful to Wonder Woman Wednesday for giving me the space to share my story. I hope it reminds at least one woman out there that she can build something meaningful, on her own terms.
